On Saturday 4th August we have a product tasting at the shop between 8am-12 noon. The Protein Ball Co.from Worthing will be coming to share some of their high protein, all natural snacks with us. The balls are gluten free, wheat free and vegetarian with some vegan options too. Please do come down on Saturday and try some for yourself. Last month saw the first social gathering of volunteers at a barbecue kindly hosted by Annie at her beautiful home. We were treated to the most magnificent spread and a good time was had by all, I know everyone would want me to extend our gratitude to her and her husband for their wonderful hospitality.

The volunteers also met in the village hall on the evening of July 26th and that proved very productive.

Another local product Wiston Estate wine continues to be popular and we are pleased to now be offering their rose wine as well as the white.

Our new sign has been erected on Long Furlong with many thanks to Steven and Janet Porti. They have kindly allowed us to use a space on
their land for which they have existing planning permission to place advertising boards, we hope this will help spread the word that we are open again and also attract more passing trade.

Can I take this opportunity to remind you all about the importance of supporting our newspaper delivery service. This is such an important service to so many and we really need a few more customers to help make this viable. Please consider if you might be able to support us by ordering a daily newspaper or even just a weekend title or a weekly publication like The Worthing Herald. Orders can be place in the shop.
